| | 2001 Oldsmobile Alero | PRICE: $3,300.00 EMAIL: sales [ at ] automotiveads.com Date Added: 2012-04-03 13:33:59 State: Portland, Oregon Location: Vancouver Details: Hi, I am selling my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. This car is very similar to the Chevy Malibu and the Pontiac Grand Am. This car is silver with grey interior. The car has alloy wheels and good tires (Michelin rear, and recently installed Pirelli front). The car has a spoiler and tinted windows. This car is the 4cyl with the automatic transmission. The car is efficient with gas. Has a CD player and the AC works strong. Mechanically the car is sound. Starts up and drives just fine. No leaks and no lights on of any sort. The car has 100k miles. I bought this car with a SALVAGE title back in 03 when the car had 30k miles. I have been driving it for the last 8 year and 70k miles. The car has not given me trouble. Oil has been changed every 3000-3500 miles. Come check out this car. At $3300 this is a lot of car for the money. Think about it; $3300 here on CL buys you an early 90´s Camry or Accord that are barely running and half the features don´t work. This car, things just work and runs great.Cosmetically the car is not in the best of shapes as the both bumpers have some paint peeling (small encounters in parking lots) but as far as driving, I can get into this car and drive to LA or Miami right now and be comfortable and have confidence that the car will not break. | | 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88, looks and runs great! Sale or trade | PRICE: $1,600.00 EMAIL: sales [ at ] automotiveads.com Date Added: 2012-04-03 13:33:59 State: Portland, Oregon Location: Vancouver Details: READ THE WHOLE AD BEFORE CONTACTING ME!´63 Olds Dynamic 88 4 door sedan. 394 V8/auto. The car is in great condition and runs very well. I was told when I bought it that the engine had been rebuilt maybe 40k ago. The body is VERY straight with very little rust. Trim is in good shape. All the glass is great. Paint is sun bleached on the driver side and top, but it´s still there. The interior is nice, clean and tear free. The carpet and headliner are great. Dash has a couple cracks. Door panels are good. Needs door weather stripping. This car started life in the east, but spent most of it in Arizona, thus the baked paint and rubber. The mileage reads about 35k, I´m guessing it´s 135k. I have a clean title in hand. The car is very roadworthy, and I drove it daily for a short time with no problems. I do have some paperwork to go with it including owners manual, copy of dealer reciept, and warranty booklet with ´Protect-o-Plates´. Has factory ANTI-SPIN rear, which I hear is very rare. Carb needs help (or replaced), but it runs great. Seems to run rich, and stumbles on occasion. Heat is stuck on (or off if you like), and I believe the problem lies in the vacuum hoses that work the system. The biggest problem with the car it the fuel tank. The original has a huge rusted out hole (or 3). Running a boat tank, but still have the original. I have found a replacement tank that is in very good condition, but the filler necks need to be exchanged.I´ve gone through the brakes and they work great now. New plug wires and spark plugs. It had a coolant leak out of a hole in the front water pump/timing cover housing. Because of the scope of the repair, I JB Welded the hole. I know, totally ghetto, but it looks like a huge project as this housing acts as the front engine mount as well. It has been fine, but obviously it needs to be fixed right. I have a new (used) housing and gasket set included. The battery/alternator/starter are good. All lights work excpet the dash lights turn on and off at random. Has a good set of tires on the original wheels/hubcaps, not the ugly rallys in the pics. Also, the tint is off the windows. This is a great car, would be a great Rat Rod, lowrider, or a good start for an easy restoration. Don´t cruise an Impala Like everyone else! You don´t see many (if any) of these, especially in this condition. I know I will regret selling this, but I don´t want to watch it rot. Looking for $1600 or trade. As far as trades, I am a little picky on what I want. I want an OLD 1/2 ton 6 cyl. preferably an early 60´s Chevy, an old SUV (solid axle 4 Runner, Scout, FJ), or a Jeep Comanche (MJ)(Cherokee truck) BUT NO NEWER (88 up, except maybe the Comanche) Fords/Chevys, ABSOLUTELY NO Mazdas, Isuzus, Mitsubishis, cars, or crap. NO JUNKER SEDANS. My stipulations are that it RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD, and is in decent shape. It needs to be drivable and in equivalent condition. Minor cheap repairs to make it go or stop (brakes, alternators, etc.) might be ok. Interior no big deal. Just message me what you have, and we´ll talk. If you have a better condition vehicle that nI really want, I will throw down some cash. Reply to ad or text me @ (five zero three)858-7400. If you call and don´t leave a message I will not call you back.THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS, WITH NO WARRANTIES, AND WILL NOT BE SHIPPED. CASH OR TRADE ONLY. I am willing to drive it within 100 miles if you pay for fuel. Location: Vancouverit´s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
