Details: This is a 1984 Oldmobile Delta 88 which includes all the rust. It has a new Spectra gas tank which was installed in 2008 and new brake lines from about a year ago. I installed new rear shocks on it a few months ago.The motor starts instantly and does not burn oil or have a check engine light problem. I have never had to add engine oil except during oil changes. The tires are in good condition with plenty of tread left. The brakes work good and the car handles and rides nice.I drive it to work on the freeway everyday and it has never let me down. It has always started in the extreme cold. It has always been nice to drive past newer cars stranded on the side of the road. We have owned this since 1984 when it was purchased new. It is just getting to look pretty rough now and I have another car to adopt in its place. It still has plenty of miles left in it if you don´t mind the way it looks. It is actually a pleasure to own--- It is a cheap car to fix since the parts are inexpensive, it does not need emission tests anymore, I don´t need a club to keep it from disappearing, finding a small dent or scratch won´t ruin you day, obnoxious drivers would prefer not to trade their pretty paint with you. There is a rust hole in the floorboard by the drivers seat and some more in the trunk area. It has an exhaust leak on the rusty crossover pipe so it´s not as quiet as it could be. A beast like this is worth around $400 when it finally expires and is sold as scrap so it´s not much to pay for a car that still runs good and has good parts that can eventually be used on other cars. Details: This is a 1984 Oldmobile Delta 88 which includes all the rust. It has a new Spectra gas tank which was installed in 2008 and new brake lines from about a year ago. I installed new rear shocks on it a few months ago.The motor starts instantly and does not burn oil or have a check engine light problem. I have never had to add engine oil except during oil changes. The tires are in good condition with plenty of tread left. The brakes work good and the car handles and rides nice.I drive it to work on the freeway everyday and it has never let me down. It has always started in the extreme cold. It has always been nice to drive past newer cars stranded on the side of the road. We have owned this since 1984 when it was purchased new. It is just getting to look pretty rough now and I have another car to adopt in its place. It still has plenty of miles left in it if you don´t mind the way it looks. It is actually a pleasure to own--- It is a cheap car to fix since the parts are inexpensive, it does not need emission tests anymore, I don´t need a club to keep it from disappearing, finding a small dent or scratch won´t ruin you day, obnoxious drivers would prefer not to trade their pretty paint with you. There is a rust hole in the floorboard by the drivers seat and some more in the trunk area. It has an exhaust leak on the rusty crossover pipe so it´s not as quiet as it could be. A beast like this is worth around $400 when it finally expires and is sold as scrap so it´s not much to pay for a car that still runs good and has good parts that can eventually be used on other cars.
